Project - Servicenow Functional Lead

This role is for a ServiceNow Functional Lead within Deloitte's Enterprise Performance team, focusing on HR applications. The responsibilities include acting as a point of contact for the application lifecycle, gathering stakeholder requirements, coordinating with the development team, supporting Agile delivery, and ensuring delivery quality. The role requires experience with Agile methodologies and ServiceNow, with a strong emphasis on client interaction and project management within the Government & Public Services sector.

What you'd actually do

  1. Serving as a primary point of contact across discovery, development, testing, and deployment activities for HR ServiceNow applications
  2. Meeting directly with stakeholders to document pain points, business requirements, and user needs
  3. Coordinating with the HR technology director and development team to scope, build, and implement HR services
  4. Supporting Agile delivery activities, including backlog refinement, requirements documentation, test coordination, and issue tracking
  5. Helping drive delivery quality by managing application changes, validating requirements, and supporting deployment readiness

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship
  • 1+ years of experience with Agile to include discovery, requirements sessions with clients, testing, and creating JIRAs
  • Ability to work onsite 100% of the time in Chantilly, VA

Nice to have

  • 1+ years of experience with ServiceNow
