This role is responsible for maintaining records of property and assets, including materials, repair items, and test equipment, in accordance with company procedures and government regulations. Key duties involve managing logs for receiving, transfers, allocations, storage, and shipments, conducting inventories, ensuring accurate handling of customer-furnished material, and updating property records in a database. The position requires learning data entry systems, professional communication skills, and the ability to work in a demanding environment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Maintains records for material, products returned for repair, and test equipment, owned by government, company, and associate contractors in accordance with company procedure and/or government regulations.
  2. Maintains records and logs for property/material related to receiving, transfers, allocations/consumptions, stored, and shipped
  3. conducts periodic inventories
  4. Ensure accurate receiving, storing, and issuing of customer furnished material in secured storeroom.
  5. Review and update property records in property database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.

Skills

Required

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift up to 60lbs
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance

Nice to have

  • Experience with Automated Property Management Systems (i.e. GOLD, SAP, TEAMMS, etc.)
  • Experience with FAR/DFAR
