This role is for a Property Management Lead at Target, responsible for maintaining building assets and equipment, managing vendors, and ensuring a safe and functional store environment. The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance on various building systems, working with store teams, and utilizing technology to manage work orders. It is not directly involved in AI/ML development or research.

What you'd actually do

  1. Consistently deliver guest experience commitments to create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience.
  2. Ensures every team member understands, is trained, and consistently delivers on Target’s guest experience commitments and consistent operations.
  3. Actively observes and provides feedback, holding team members accountable while recognizing great guest experience moments.
  4. Reviews area guest, financial, and team outcome metrics to identify opportunities, takes action to improve, and aligns team on the right behaviors and execution, celebrates wins, drives results that deliver outcomes and elevates the guest experience.
  5. Utilize technology (e.g. Mobile Device, AI) to create, troubleshoot, prioritize, and safely complete work orders.

Skills

Required

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • 1+ years of technical education preferred in some of the following areas: electrical, mechanical, carpentry, HVAC or plumbing and/or experience working in any of the following areas: basic door repair, HVAC fil

Nice to have

  • Ability to identify and safely execute preventive and corrective maintenance on all building assets and equipment
  • Ability to complete work within compliance standards and Target guidelines
  • Ability to work with vendors and influence timely completion of their work
  • Ability to influence store team to ensure project work aligns with PM priorities and financial goals
  • Understanding of Plumbing, HVAC, Refrigeration, Life Safety Power Systems and Electrical equipment
  • Understanding of repair versus replace and managing cost
