This role manages the implementation of Bank of America's physical security program, policies, and procedures in Broward County, Florida. Responsibilities include responding to physical events, supporting incident management, assessing threats, mitigating risk, and communicating security initiatives. The manager will oversee security programs, conduct risk assessments, consult with business partners, participate in investigations, and act as a liaison with law enforcement. The role also involves developing cost-effective security plans, managing access control, and serving as a member of the crisis management team.

What you'd actually do

  1. Manages incidents including robberies, burglaries, workplace violence, thefts, and other security related incidents while providing timely updates to stakeholders and completing documentation.
  2. Oversees, coordinates, and provides direction to on-site management when dealing with crises or emergency events and trains teams on appropriate security, safety, and risk mitigation strategies.
  3. Builds and maintains relationships with all levels of management and key stakeholders, such as local market leaders, financial center managers, facility managers, and external security experts to ensure adherence to local, state, and federal law.
  4. Conducts security assessments to identify and remediate risk in financial centers, remote ATMs, and administrative/operations buildings.
  5. Manages guard deployment strategy and security integrator work, including security equipment related projects for assigned areas of responsibility.

Skills

Required

  • 4+ years of experience in prior law enforcement, investigative experience, or military special operations
  • Experience working with security technology, defining physical security system standards, upgrades, maintenance, and day-to-day supervision of systems
  • Excellent Communication Skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to interact with internal and external customers/leadership
