Public Relations Manager I, Apac

This role is for a Public Relations Manager focused on the APAC region for Coursera. The primary responsibility is to tell the story of how Coursera shapes the future of work and education, and transforms lives through access to high-quality, job-relevant education. The role involves crafting media strategies, supporting business units, leading proactive storytelling and thought leadership, and building relationships with media. While the company leverages AI and mentions AI-powered features, the core function of this role is public relations and communications, not direct AI/ML development or research.

What you'd actually do

  1. Craft regional PR plans and messaging for the consumer and enterprise segments
  2. Work with agencies across key markets to coordinate launch rollout, briefings, and coverage tactics
  3. Build relationships with business, HR, tech, consumer, policy and higher ed reporters
  4. Advance thought leadership program with strong speaker placements, bylines, and proactive outreach
  5. Take a lead role in drafting localized PR collateral such as briefing books, blog posts, and press releases
