Northrop Grumman is seeking a Public Relations Representative to create and deliver compelling content and messaging in support of company priorities. This role involves strategic planning, tactical execution, and developing integrated communications plans. The ideal candidate will have experience in strategic communications campaigns, content development, and interacting with executive leaders.

What you'd actually do

  1. Providing strategic planning support, tactical execution and creative brainpower to support programs across the sector’s strategic priorities.
  2. Developing content for business focus areas and priorities, partnering with functional colleagues and leadership to align to business objectives.
  3. Using objectives-based storytelling in developing content and messaging.
  4. Developing and executing integrated communications plans aligned to strategic priorities that deliver measurable results.

Skills

Required

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience developing and deploying strategic communications campaigns and measuring business impact
  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 2 years of communications, public relations, marketing or journalism experience or master’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing or journalism.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs
  • Must have the ability to travel up to 10%

Nice to have

  • Experience working in a large, matrixed and/or geographically dispersed organization
  • Experience developing productive relationships with executives
  • Experience in technology, aerospace, defense or other science-related business or government fields
  • Demonstrated judgement in decision making and leadership actions with capabilities to drive change through creative and/or other disruptive methods, ideas and approaches
  • Understanding of AP Stylebook
