Public Sector Partner Sa - Openai , Wwps Global Isv Partners

Amazon Amazon · Big Tech · Arlington, VA · Solutions Architect

This role focuses on being a technical partner lead for OpenAI within AWS's public sector, designing, prototyping, and deploying generative AI solutions. It requires hands-on engineering skills to build prototypes, evangelize capabilities, publish reference architectures, and work with both developers and executives in regulated and classified environments. The role involves deep collaboration with OpenAI and government customers, focusing on RAG, agentic workflows, fine-tuning, and multi-modal deployments on AWS.

What you'd actually do

  1. Serve as the primary AWS technical interface to OpenAI for all US public sector engagements, covering GovCloud, AWS Dedicated Clouds (ADCs), and commercial regions supporting government workloads.
  2. Rapidly prototype and demonstrate OpenAI-on-AWS solutions for government customers — including RAG architectures, agentic workflows, fine-tuning pipelines, and multi-modal AI deployments on Amazon Bedrock and self-hosted infrastructure.
  3. Architect AI solutions that meet the security, compliance, and data sovereignty requirements of US Government customers (FedRAMP High, IL4/5/6, ITAR, CMMC).
  4. Publish reference architectures, blog posts, code samples, and technical content that accelerate partner and customer adoption of OpenAI on AWS in public sector contexts.
  5. Evangelize OpenAI-on-AWS capabilities through workshops, immersion days, hackathons, and executive briefings with government CIOs/CTOs and mission owners.
