This role focuses on maintaining the quality system within a distribution center, ensuring compliance with drug, medical device, and local regulations. Responsibilities include staff training, SOP revision, facility inspections, client communication during audits, and investigating discrepancies. The role requires a science-related degree and experience in Quality Assurance, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.

What you'd actually do

  1. Ensures all staff is trained in their respective job functions, including GMP.
  2. Writes and revises Standard Operating Procedures as required.
  3. Conducts regular inspections of the facility and recordkeeping, including summarization and reporting of findings. Coordinate or assist with corrective actions and preventative measures.
  4. Communicates with clients and provides information during external audits
  5. Liaises with Health Canada officials during regulatory audits.

Skills

Nice to have

  • Pharmaceutical, healthcare or food industry experience
  • Quality Assurance experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science related field (or internationally comparable degree)
  • QPIC/AQPIC designation
