Meta Reality Labs is looking for QA Leads to ensure the delivery of high-quality software and platforms for wearables product lines. This role involves building a test-driven engineering environment, implementing process changes to scale testing, planning and executing test efforts, identifying and reporting KPI trends, diagnosing issues, and partnering with automation and infrastructure teams.

What you'd actually do

  1. Build a test-driven/user-centric engineering environment that drives improvements in quality.
  2. Implement process changes to scale testing efforts across multiple products.
  3. Plan, develop, and execute test efforts for multiple platforms.
  4. Identify, test, track, and report KPI trends over the course of projects.
  5. Diagnose issues, report defects, and propose regression/A/B tests to discover reoccurrences.

Skills

Required

  • debugging applications on platforms, PCs, and mobile components
  • driving Quality Assurance (QA) strategy
  • partnering and/or collaborating across multiple teams
  • coding in Python, PHP, Java, C/C++ or equivalent language
  • building, shipping, and maintaining commercial software on top of consumer electronic devices
  • quality assurance within the virtual reality domain
  • methodical and consistently delivering high-quality results

  • managing black box and white box testing

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or relevant technical field
  • equivalent practical experience
