This role focuses on contractual deal strategy, contracting, and risk management within Deloitte's Quality and Risk Management group, specifically supporting the Life Sciences & Health Care (LSHC) Industry. The position involves supporting sales teams with deal structuring, contract review, negotiation, and managing risks throughout the engagement lifecycle. It also includes knowledge management and supporting strategic initiatives related to areas like software, cloud, data analytics, and Generative AI.

What you'd actually do

  1. Assist with deal desk and contract review activities. Support our sales team with deal and contract structuring, RFI/RFP/Proposals, contract review, drafting custom provisions, and negotiations.
  2. Intersect with various functions - including sales, legal, finance, and delivery - to act as a strategic advisor to help manage deal flow and to optimize sales and contracting cycles.
  3. Work closely with deal teams and legal in reviewing, advancing, and negotiating agreements such as master agreements, confidentiality agreements, and teaming agreements.
  4. Own risk consultation and contracting review of scope of work/SOW documents and related schedules.
  5. Assist with ongoing contracting, risk management, and mitigation support for ongoing contracting requirements - SOWs, Change Orders, amendments, and renewals.
