Quality Analyst

Visa is seeking a Quality Analyst to join their Risk and Controls team. This role focuses on first-line defense risk governance, business control supervision, risk assessment, and data-driven insights. The analyst will use PowerBI and data analytics for visualization and statistical analysis to support decision-making and minimize risk exposures. Responsibilities include conducting risk workshops, evaluating control effectiveness, managing projects, advising senior management on risk, and ensuring compliance with policies. The role requires experience in banking customer service, risk/testing functions, and proficiency in MS Office and PowerBI, with Six Sigma certification preferred. Experience with GenAI tools for analysis and quality scoring is also preferred.

What you'd actually do

  1. Conduct risk workshops and assessments
  2. Performs ongoing supervision of established business controls and applies maturing knowledge to perform root cause analyses, testing coordination and seeks guidance from team members to evaluate the effectiveness of established business controls. Leads, builds and supports performance business reviews for the Client Care leadership team.
  3. Compiles, analyzes, and provides regular reporting to Client Care Leadership.
  4. Manages related projects, delegates as needed and sees them through to completion while organizing and prioritizing multiple ongoing tasks.
  5. Advises senior management on the status of their control environment related to risk identification and control weaknesses, as necessary

What the JD emphasized

  • Minimum of six years experience in a banking customer service environment related to card issuing, merchant acquiring, or Backoffice across multiple channels (Voice, Chat, Email, Back Office, or Social Media)
  • Minimum of two years of previous risk/testing function including Risk and Control Self Assessment experience.
  • Six Sigma Certified (or alike) with experience in a performance improvement methodology.
