What you'd actually do

  1. Maintain accurate quality records in the Quality Management System and ensure audit readiness (e.g., ISO 9001, AS 9100, CMMI).
  2. Support and update non‑conformance (NCRs) and corrective‑action reports (CARs).
  3. Support and facilitate various meetings, such as Corrective Action Boards and Material Review Boards.
  4. Recommend and implement process improvements to reduce defect rates and improve product reliability.
  5. Participate in and lead internal and external audits, and track corrective actions to closure.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Quality assurance/analysis experience
  • Understanding of ISO 9001, AS 9100, and relevant MIL‑STDs
  • Familiarity with failure investigation and root cause tools
  • Strong root‑cause analysis capability
  • Ability to collect and interpret quality data
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Proficient MS Office skills, especially Excel for data analysis
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret security clearance

Nice to have

  • Active Secret Security Clearance
  • Experience in the aerospace, defense, or high‑technology sector
  • Quality auditing experience
  • AS9100 auditor certification/experience or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA)
  • Functional knowledge and experience with TipQA, Costpoint, MES, SAP, and Tableau
  • Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher)
