Quality Analyst/principal Quality Analyst – Level 2 or Level 3

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Quality Analyst/Principal Quality Analyst to support complex problems related to MRB/Nonconformance data analytics in an industrial environment. The role involves interacting with Quality Engineering, Process Engineering, and Operations teams to analyze data, conduct reviews, and lead improvement projects based on quality metrics. Requires experience with quality assurance standards like AS9100/IS9001 and QMS, data analytics, and project leadership. A Secret security clearance is required.

What you'd actually do

  1. Interact with internal, external, and government customers to provide quality metrics data.
  2. Work directly with value stream organizations to ensure that inspections, process control, and audits are conducted on a continuing basis to improve processing.
  3. Report On-site 1-2 times weekly at the Salt Lake facility
  4. Work Infrequent on-call duty – 1-2 hour off-shift support to lead training related to projects above; approximately once a quarter.
  5. Must be able to work in manufacturing environment, including accessing ladders, stairs, and work platforms.

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of professional/related experience OR Master’s degree with 0 years of professional/related experience (for Level 2)
  • Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of professional/related experience OR Master’s degree with 3 years of professional/related experience OR PhD with 1 year of professional/related experience (for Level 3)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance
