Quality Control (qc) Manager

This role is for a Quality Control (QC) Manager at Crusoe, an AI infrastructure company focused on energy and compute. The manager will lead the site-level QA/QC program for large-scale data center construction, focusing on MEP systems, developing quality plans, overseeing inspections, managing deficiencies, and ensuring compliance with standards. The role requires experience in construction QA/QC, understanding of MEP systems, and the ability to manage quality processes at scale.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead execution of the site-level QA/QC program for large-scale, mission-critical data center construction
  2. Develop and maintain the Site-Level Quality Management Plan (QMP)
  3. Ensure critical MEP systems (electrical distribution, mechanical cooling, controls) are installed in accordance with design intent, specifications, and performance requirements
  4. Partner closely with construction managers, general contractors, subcontractors, and commissioning teams to drive quality outcomes
  5. Develop and manage Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), checklists, and inspection processes across all project phases

Skills

Required

  • 5–7+ years (Manager) / 8–12+ years (Senior) experience in construction QA/QC, ideally within mission-critical, industrial, or large-scale infrastructure projects
  • Strong understanding of MEP systems, including electrical distribution and mechanical/cooling systems
  • Experience supporting commissioning readiness and system turnover
  • Proven ability managing NCRs, punch lists, inspections, and QA documentation at scale
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, submittals
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, field-driven environment with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail with a systems-oriented and analytical mindset
  • Experience using quality data (defect tracking, trend analysis) to drive decisions and improvements

Nice to have

  • Data center or hyperscale experience (AWS, Meta, Google, Microsoft, etc.)
  • Complex large scale commercial construction experience such as Healthcare, Semi-Conductor, Refinery, or Central Plants
  • Experience working closely with commissioning (Cx) teams
  • Familiarity with tools such as Procore, BIM360, or similar construction management platforms
  • Relevant certifications (CQM, CQI, PMP, or similar)
