What you'd actually do

  1. Lead Drivetrain Component Manufacturing issue resolution in a fast-paced environment while driving improvement through various quality initiatives including QIT, PFMEA, DPQ, Six Sigma projects, and Smart Connected Factory initiatives.
  2. Plan, organize and execute quality initiatives in your area of responsibility, including leading cross-functional, cross-departmental projects.
  3. Leverage structured problem-solving and statistical skills to solve complex component manufacturing problems.
  4. Manage, implement, or update control plan development and execution.

Skills

Required

  • Experience using standard quality management principles and tools (such as FMEA, SPC, Root Cause, Control Plans, Gauge RR, MSA and Capability Studies)
  • Experience reading and interpreting complex part drawings, including functional knowledge of GD&T principles and terminology
  • Experience using advanced data gathering and analysis techniques, including statistical analysis
  • Experience in driving a closed loop corrective action process, including rigorous root cause analysis
  • Experience with gear or shaft manufacturing standards, processes, and controls

Nice to have

  • Experience in project management; including effectively facilitating, leading, and managing cross functional teams
  • Experience with Power BI, Alteryx, Tableau, or Minitab software
  • ASQ certifications such as CQE, CSSGB, and/or CSSBB
  • Drivetrain Components shop floor experience
