Quality Engineer for Caterpillar Trimble Control Technologies (CTCT) joint venture, focusing on new product development for electronic components in machine guidance systems. Responsibilities include serving as a Subject Matter Expert for risk management (FMEAs, etc.), refining quality methods, and integrating product analytics and supportability strategies into the development process. The role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and risk evaluation.

What you'd actually do

  1. Execute the CTCT Proactive Quality Strategy through engagement on hardware development project teams.
  2. Support development & refinement of the Quality Strategy through risk management techniques.
  3. Serve as Subject Matter Expert to coach and mentor project teams on risk management tools (Including but not limited to; FMEAs, boundary diagrams, P-diagrams, risk assessments, etc ...).
  4. Concurrent work on multiple project teams and CTCT initiations.
  5. Facilitate change management as necessary.
