What you'd actually do

  1. Use data to investigate, contain, and resolve quality issues through root cause identification
  2. Work with cross functional teams to design inherent quality validation into processes
  3. Lead quality planning and execution discussions (PMFEA, Control Plan, Dimensional analysis, QIT) and maintain historical performance documentation and metrics for team
  4. Lead and actively participate in Continuous Improvement (CI) – improving and implementing departmental Safety, Quality, Efficiency, Delivery, ergonomic improvement and cost reduction ideas.
  5. Execute engineering workflow activities to support design and process changes
