Quality Engineer & Program Manager for Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) supporting the Apache AH-64 program. The role involves managing employees, developing business plans, providing education on the Quality System, acquiring resources, leading process improvements, and maintaining stakeholder relationships. Requires a Bachelor's degree in a STEM field, leadership experience, and experience in quality roles, Six Sigma, and statistical analysis.

What you'd actually do

  1. Performs management activities across multiple (two or more) Quality Management Job Families
  2. Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies
  3. Provides education and coaching on the Quality System
  4. Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements
  5. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry
  • Leadership role experience (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross-functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR completed Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership”
  • 3+ years of experience managing complex project schedules and managing large scale program and projects
  • 3+ years of experience working in a quality job role
  • 3+ years of experience working with Six Sigma techniques
  • 3+ years of experience with statistical analysis and process control, Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) utilizing six sigma techniques, and familiarization of AS9100 standards

Nice to have

  • 3+ years of experience working as a Quality Engineer
  • 3+ years of experience in the aerospace industry
