Joby Aviation is seeking a Quality Inspection Supervisor to lead their quality assurance team in a manufacturing environment, focusing on inspection tasks, process improvement, and team leadership. The role requires supervisory experience in manufacturing, knowledge of quality systems, and technical aptitude in areas like composites or electronics.

What you'd actually do

  1. Supervise Quality Inspection Team Members, and will be responsible for the overall operations of these areas
  2. Lead improvement activities for quality, delivery, cost, and safety objectives, and will support continuous improvement through Kaizen
  3. Review and/or prepare standardized work procedures and facilitate effective communication of procedures to affected areas
  4. Develop training documents and facilitate training; assist in troubleshooting quality issues
  5. Must be able to manage manpower, including time clock management of hourly employees, and ability to control overtime

  • Working knowledge of manufacturing systems and processes
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • ASQ Certified Quality Inspector Certificate
