Joby Aviation is seeking a Quality Inspector for composite materials and parts for their VTOL electric aircraft. Responsibilities include incoming, in-process, and final inspections, as well as participating in the development of the quality inspection system. Requires a high-school diploma, 1+ year of experience in composite inspection or fabrication, and knowledge of quality terms, measurement, blueprints, and basic mathematics.

What you'd actually do

  1. Participate in the development of the quality inspection system.
  2. Perform incoming inspection on supplied composite material.
  3. Perform in-process inspection during the layup process for composite material.
  4. Perform final inspection on completed composite parts.
  5. Perform final inspection on the completed Work Order paperwork package.
