What you'd actually do

  1. Establishes and implements a proactive risk-based audit program for the Mission Systems sector
  2. Ensure audits assess both compliance with requirements and process adequacy
  3. Coordinate site and sector level audit plans to ensure maximum coverage of risk across geographically distributed teams
  4. Identify and establish metrics to determine effectiveness of risk assessment process, audit planning, and execution
  5. Leverage data to identify trends, drive prioritization, and inform leadership decisions

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree and 6 years of relevant experience, or 4 years of relevant experience with a PhD
  • 3 years of demonstrated team leadership / formal engineering or operations leadership experience and / or significant technical projects or investigations
  • Strong knowledge of AS9100, AS9145, AS9102 and other regulatory compliance requirements
  • Qualified Auditor
  • Experience with risk and opportunity management processes and incorporation into financial EACs
  • Demonstrated experience with root cause analysis and corrective action processes
  • Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance
  • U.S Citizenship Required

Nice to have

  • ASQ Certified Quality Auditor or AS9100 Certified Lead Auditor
  • Experience in aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated industry
  • Secret clearance
