What you'd actually do

  1. Leads testing new products by selecting configurations, designing test programs, coordinating evaluations and tear-downs, identifying issues, and recommending improvements to reduce warranty costs and enhance product quality.
  2. Ensures adherence to global quality processes and reports QMS execution to management. Manages priorities, schedules reviews, and oversees shop floor quality controllers.
  3. Oversees implementation of tools and processes supporting global quality systems (e.g., APQP, PPAP, MQ11005/MQ12005), ensuring alignment with Caterpillar Production System (CPS) principles.
  4. Develops and monitors quality plans to meet Caterpillar standards and QS9000 certification requirements through internal audits and reporting.
  5. Generates quality reports and drives continuous improvement by collecting inspection data and publishing defect reports across all production stages.

  • Utilizes structured approaches to identify the underlying causes of adverse outcomes in manufacturing and implements corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
  • Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing or any related engineering degree.
  • English Advanced
