This role is a QA Specialist for Commercial Quality in the MedTech sector at Johnson & Johnson. The primary focus is on establishing and maintaining quality assurance methods, managing supplier quality, ensuring QMS compliance, overseeing new product introductions, managing shipment processes, handling customer complaints, and driving product improvement through corrective actions. The role requires ensuring compliance with Japanese legal requirements and managing recall processes.

What you'd actually do

  1. Guide and supervise overseas manufacturing sites to ensure they meet Japanese legal requirements (e.g., site certification or registration activities, QMS compliance of overseas facilities).
  2. Understand design control, mass-production transfer, and manufacturing/quality control processes, and establish methods for ensuring product quality throughout each process.
  3. Build systems related to product shipment to the market, approve shipment acceptance or rejection in the event of deviations or non-conformities, and issue instructions for shipment holds/releases.
  4. Manage customer feedback (including complaints) processes and perform complaint-handling operations.
  5. Manage recall processes and carry out recall activities (regulatory communication, progress management, confirmation of recalled items).
