Quality Systems Specialist

This role focuses on quality systems and processes within Boeing Commercial Airplanes, specifically on flight line operations. Responsibilities include data analysis, process improvement, root cause analysis, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. It requires experience in quality management systems, problem-solving, and aerospace manufacturing.

What you'd actually do

  1. Leads stakeholders in analysis of process data, metrics, models and flows to identify root cause of complex problems and development and implementation of preventive or corrective actions.
  2. Conducts research, compiles and analyzes performance reports and process control statistics to continuously improve process capability.
  3. Analyzes and interprets data. Provides feedback on assessment results and identifies opportunities for improvement and potential areas of risk
  4. Participates in the analysis of the impact of production system changes to Quality inspection processes, while acting as a liaison across functional groups (FAA, ODA, etc.) on quality related issues and coordinating efforts to improve the Quality Management System (QMS)
  5. Evaluates and implements inspection processes that comply with company and regulatory agency requirements.

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of experience in analyzing and presenting data
  • 5+ years of experience using or applying metrics to measure performance against projects to ensure high quality delivery
  • 5+ years of experience in systemic problem solving
  • 3+ years of experience with Quality Management Systems and/or Boeing Production System (BPS)
  • 3+ years of experience working with/involved with Corrective Actions or Root Cause Analysis (RCCA) and Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA)
  • 3+ years of experience working aerospace, fabrication and/or manufacturing
  • Proficient utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • 787 Program experience
  • Experience with Velocity, REDARS, and/or CMES
  • Experience with Tableau dashboards and SQL coding requirements
  • Experience in flight line/flight operations
  • Experience reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications
