Boeing Commercial Airplanes is hiring a Senior Delivery Center Quality System Specialist (Level 4) to help support the team** **in **North Charleston, South Carolina **on 1st Shift.
This position will be focused on flight line operations and quality processes to include but not limited to Airworthiness Inspections, Flight Performance / Flight Squawks, and Aircraft Ticketing.
The position will require data analysis and presentation of data in multiple leadership forums.
Position Responsibilities:
- Leads stakeholders in analysis of process data, metrics, models and flows to identify root cause of complex problems and development and implementation of preventive or corrective actions.
- Conducts research, compiles and analyzes performance reports and process control statistics to continuously improve process capability.
- Analyzes and interprets data. Provides feedback on assessment results and identifies opportunities for improvement and potential areas of risk
- Participates in the analysis of the impact of production system changes to Quality inspection processes, while acting as a liaison across functional groups (FAA, ODA, etc.) on quality related issues and coordinating efforts to improve the Quality Management System (QMS)
- Evaluates and implements inspection processes that comply with company and regulatory agency requirements.
- Works with organizations to develop strategies, plans and metrics to achieve business objectives
- Works at the appropriate level in the organization to implement strategies and plans
- Works under minimal direction
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at North Charleston, South Carolina.
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years of experience in analyzing and presenting data
- 5+ years of experience using or applying metrics to measure performance against projects to ensure high quality delivery
- 5+ years of experience in systemic problem solving
- 3+ years of experience with Quality Management Systems and/or Boeing Production System (BPS)
- 3+ years of experience working with/involved with Corrective Actions or Root Cause Analysis (RCCA) and Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA)
- 3+ years of experience working aerospace, fabrication and/or manufacturing
- Proficient utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher
- 787 Program experience
- Experience with Velocity, REDARS, and/or CMES
- Experience with Tableau dashboards and SQL coding requirements
- Experience in flight line/flight operations
- Experience reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications
