Boeing is seeking Quality Workplace Coaches to support manufacturing and assembly teams for the 767 and 777 programs. The role involves coaching quality inspectors on best practices, analyzing performance data, supporting problem-solving, and assisting with on-the-job training. Requires experience as a Quality Inspector in aerospace or manufacturing environments, with strong knowledge of assembly processes and procedures, and the ability to read blueprints and specifications.

What you'd actually do

  1. Coaches Quality inspectors on best practices in inspection techniques and performance improvement, utilizing expertise in quality manufacturing and assembly across various areas such as Structures, Seal, Flightline processes, Functional Test, Wings, Interiors, Electrical, WIRS, NCR Tag Writing, Hydraulics, Engines, Paint, Systems, Final Assembly, Plumbing and PDD (including but not limited to REDARS, PSDS, ONEPPM, D Documents Navigation), to enhance coaching, performance improvement, and problem solving in support of the Boeing Production System
  2. Create and maintain web portal and content.
  3. Analyzes and interprets performance and quality data (e.g. CMES, EPES) to identify improvement opportunities
  4. Analyzes processes and supports problem solving, develops, communicates and documents innovative solutions in support of area quality goals
  5. Assists Quality managers and team leads with Structured On-the-Job Training (SOJT) plans and provides program/job specific advanced skills coaching

Skills

Required

  • Quality Inspector experience
  • aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing environment experience
  • aircraft manufacturing working with assembly processes and procedures
  • utilizing and following detailed work instructions
  • reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications

Nice to have

  • 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Quality inspection experience in Structures, Seal, Flightline processes, Functional Test, Wings, Interiors, Electrical, WIRS, NCR Tag Writing, Hydraulics, Engines, Paint, Systems, Final Assembly, Plumbing and PDD
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications
  • Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills

What the JD emphasized
