Quant Analytics Analyst

This role focuses on leveraging AI/ML, specifically LLM APIs, to build analytical solutions and conversational AI applications within the Auto Finance Data & Analytics team at JPMorgan Chase. The analyst will translate business questions into AI/ML solutions, support product teams, and drive business outcomes through data-driven insights and the development of AI-powered tools.

What you'd actually do

  1. Conduct deep-dive analyses to generate actionable insights and recommendations, using data-driven storytelling to demonstrate value and influence product roadmap initiatives.
  2. Build applications and utilities that call LLM APIs to support analytics workflows
  3. Support reporting that communicates product performance, and present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional PXT teams, including Product, Design, and Engineering, to inform product development.
  5. Serve as an analytics subject-matter expert by formulating problem statements, sizing opportunities, and defining success metrics.
  6. Identify business problems and opportunities where AI/LLM-based solutions can create value; design and develop solutions that improve decision-making, enhance customer experiences, and drive measurable business outcomes.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in statistics, economics, mathematics, or engineering with 3+ years of experience
  • Familiarity with modern analytics platforms and data visualization tools, including SQL, Alteryx and Tableau.
  • Experience in building Conversational AI applications and in orchestrating AI/ML services for building a complete solution
  • Curiosity and demonstrated initiative in learning and applying AI/LLM technologies to business problems and projects.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and demonstrate strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of analytics platforms, technical processes, and data workflows within a technical discipline.
  • Strong skills in designing, developing, and operationalizing data products.

Nice to have

  • Hands-on experience building AI/LLM solutions.
  • Familiarity with Github CoPilot or similar tools.
  • Prior exposure to marketing, competitive intelligence, or strategic analytics
  • Highly organized, intellectually curious, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
