What you'd actually do

  1. Partner closely with colleagues across product, design and technology to design and execute research projects which inform strategy and decision-making
  2. Analyze and interpret data using advanced quantitative methods and translate insights into actionable recommendations to enhance user experience
  3. Define relevant metrics and facilitate their implementation to provide meaningful insights about product performance and user experience
  4. Advise colleagues on what to measure about user experience, both by tracking user behavior and by running user surveys
  5. Monitor industry trends in user experience research methods and incorporate innovative techniques to maintain a competitive edge in the market

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in generative and evaluative user experience research, with a strong focus on quantitative research methods
  • Proven ability to conduct various research techniques, such as surveys, A/B tests and statistical modelling, to derive actionable insights to inform product decisions
  • Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UX designers and developers, to propel user-centric decision-making and inform product prioritization
  • Experience in designing high-quality research studies with an iterative mindset, with an ability to adapt study parameters to accommodate changing product design needs
  • Experience analyzing and visualizing data using Python or R, focused on developing reproducible analytical pipelines
  • Experience synthesizing large datasets from different sources to derive meaningful insights
  • Experience distilling complex research findings into actionable insights and to communicate insights effectively to audiences with different levels of seniority and familiarity with research

Nice to have

  • Advanced degree (e.g. MSc, PhD) in data science, behavioral science, social psychology, statistics, or another related field
  • Experience with advanced statistical methods (e.g., longitudinal analysis, multi-level modeling, AI/ML techniques)
  • Experience using experimental and quasi-experimental designs
  • Familiarity with Tableau and/or Adobe Analytics
