This role is for an RF Design Engineer II at RTX, focusing on the design, simulation, development, and testing of RF and microwave hardware, including transmitters, receivers, and exciters for radar and datalink applications. The position requires a Master's degree in an engineering or STEM field and involves schematic capture, circuit design, and lab work. A security clearance is also required.

What you'd actually do

  1. Supporting design and development of transmitters, receivers or exciters.
  2. Experience designing and optimizing RF circuits – either chains of components (receiver, exciter, etc.) or individual parts (filters, limiters, couplers, etc.)
  3. Working in a lab to accomplish component characterization as well as module verification and integration of sensitive RF Hardware.
  4. Supporting design of circuit card assemblies (CCAs) with RF or mixed signals.
  5. Schematic capture and detailed design.

Required

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major.
  • Electronics, electromagnetics, analog, or RF design coursework.
