Raytheon is an industry leader in Stealth Technology. We are involved in all phases of development, production, and maintenance of Low Observable (LO) weapon systems. We are currently looking for Radar Cross Section (RCS) Range Radar Operators to support challenging, state-of-the-art technical projects during testing.
**What You Will Do **
- Responsible for operating instrumentation radar during the collection of RCS measurements
- Calibration of the radar system
- Regular health and quality testing of the radar system and subsystems
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues in the radar system
- Annual review of the Range Book and updating as required
- Ensure data quality and integrity
- Support target configuration and test set-up
This job is in Tucson, AZ and the position is onsite
**Qualifications You Must Have **
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
- Experience in calibration, maintenance and characterization of RF equipment for far field RCS measurements
- Experience supporting RCS measurement testing
- Understanding of radar system operation
- Experience in test asset configuration and mounting
- Experience in test plan generation
- Secret security clearance

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
