Project Coach for Walmart US Realty Execution team, responsible for delivering store and club remodels, new stores/clubs, and special projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards. Involves supervising team members, handling escalations, and collaborating with store leadership. Requires travel and involves overnight shifts.

What you'd actually do

  1. Take ownership in delivering store and club remodels, new stores and clubs, and special projects across the US.
  2. Ensure projects are done on time, within budget, and meet our top-notch quality standards.
  3. Partner with store team leads to supervise hourly team members, handle any escalations, and collaborate with store leadership to keep everything on track.
  4. Travel to projects across the US.
  5. Motivate your team to meet timelines and deliverables on projects.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field and 1 year of experience in project management, space management, store design, operations, data analysis, or related area OR 3 years of experience in project management, space management, store design, operations, data analysis, or related area.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring and training; mentoring; assigning duties; providing recognition; and ensuring diversity awareness.
  • Compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; utilizing and supporting the Open-Door Policy; and providing direction and guidance on applying these in executing business processes and practices.
  • Implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities.

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree in Business or related field.
  • 1 year’s experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Project Management - Management Professional Certification.
