Recruiting Data Analyst

Discord is seeking a Recruiting Data Analyst to join their People Analytics team. This role will partner with the Recruiting function to optimize hiring processes by leveraging data, building predictive models, designing dashboards, and conducting analyses to measure and improve recruiting effectiveness. The analyst will also own reporting of critical recruiting metrics, create interactive dashboards, manage data within Greenhouse, build data pipelines using SQL, and support data governance practices.

What you'd actually do

  1. Build strong partnerships with stakeholders across Recruiting, People, and Finance functions to establish trust as a strategic data partner
  2. Collaborate with Recruiting and cross-functional leadership to gather requirements, translate business needs into analytical solutions, and deliver insights that inform strategic decision-making
  3. Own reporting of critical Recruiting metrics (e.g., hiring progress, recruiter productivity, pipeline health) to measure the effectiveness of our Recruiting function; proactively identify issues and provide solutions to ensure goals are met
  4. Create and enhance interactive dashboards and visualizations in Tableau and One Model to provide real-time insights, translating complex data into stories that are easy to understand
  5. Collaborate with our People data analyst to ensure a cohesive analytics strategy, unified metrics across recruiting and employee experience, and critical reporting to the CPO and Executive team
