Recruiting Operations Lead

Baseten is seeking a Recruiting Operations Lead to build and scale the operational backbone of their talent function. This role involves designing recruiting processes, building the recruiting data foundation, driving enablement, leading programs, and evaluating new tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong operational rigor, be an ATS power user, data fluent, an excellent communicator and project manager, and a builder with 4+ years of experience in recruiting operations at a high-growth company.

What you'd actually do

  1. Design and document recruiting processes. Build clear, consistent, scalable workflows across the full hiring lifecycle — from role kick-off to offer acceptance — and ensure they're adopted across the team.
  2. Build the recruiting data foundation. Define our core metrics (time-to-fill, offer acceptance rate, pipeline conversion, source effectiveness) and create dashboards that give recruiters, people leadership, and the business real-time visibility into hiring health.
  3. Drive interviewer and hiring manager enablement. Create training materials, calibration guides, and onboarding resources that raise the quality and consistency of our interview process across every function.
  4. Lead recruiting programs and initiatives. Own high-priority projects such as candidate experience improvements, referral program optimization, recruiting branding, and DEI initiatives end-to-end — from scoping to execution to measurement.
  5. Evaluate and implement new tools. Stay ahead of the recruiting technology landscape — from AI-powered sourcing tools to interview intelligence platforms — and bring a thoughtful POV on what Baseten should adopt and how.
