Region Vice President, Solution Sales for Oracle's OPAL (Oracle Public Cloud) division. This role is responsible for the region's sales, third-party alliances, and customer satisfaction, developing and executing strategies to maximize Oracle's opportunities. The RVP will manage and develop a team of sales representatives, including recruiting, hiring, and training. They will also sell and promote Oracle products, negotiate sales terms, and build relationships with field managers to develop joint account plans. The role requires generating and achieving territory forecasts and managing escalations.

What you'd actually do

  1. Overall responsibility for the regions sales, third party alliances, and customer satisfaction.
  2. Develops and implements a comprehensive strategy that maximizes Oracle's opportunities across all products and product lines.
  3. Manages and develops a team of sales representatives including recruiting, hiring, and training new reps on the Oracle sales process.
  4. Sells and promotes the sales of Oracle products to customers including negotiating price, other concessions and terms and conditions of the sale.
  5. Participates in strategic and tactical planning for the division.
