Regional Business Director for Johnson & Johnson MedTech, Electrophysiology, responsible for managing sales and clinical personnel, driving regional sales growth, meeting sales targets, managing budgets, and developing customer relationships within the Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota territory. Requires a bachelor's degree, 5+ years of professional experience including 3+ years in the medical device industry, and specific experience in Cardiac Electrophysiology.

What you'd actually do

  1. Implement and execute the Electrophysiology commercial strategy by managing sales and clinical personnel and activities to maximize profitable sales growth in a rapidly growing marketplace.
  2. Drive top line regional sales results in line with business plan including defining and managing the monthly and annual sales objectives for all the sales and clinical personnel.
  3. Meet and exceed sales targets for the region of the US. Provide accurate sales forecasts and develops and executes tactical sales plans including quotas and account objectives. Partner with Area Director to develop appropriate commercial strategies to maximize business outcomes.
  4. Manage the Regional budget.
  5. Coach and manage (directly) the performance of the regional pods, including Territory Managers, Clinical Account Specialists and Ultrasound Specialist.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of professional work experience
  • 3+ years in the Medical Device Industry
  • 3 years of Sales or Marketing experience in the US medical device industry or 2 years prior Sales Management experience in the Cardiovascular Industry
  • 2 years of business experience in the Cardiac Electrophysiology
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • Valid driver's license issued in the United States

  • Experience as a field trainer

  • Advanced degree (e.g., MBA)
