Regional Director, Strategic Sales, High Tech

This is a sales leadership role at Cursor, a company focused on automating coding. The Regional Director will build and lead a team of Strategic Account Executives to drive revenue growth in the High Tech vertical. Responsibilities include coaching the sales team, developing sales processes, and working with Product and Engineering to position Cursor to enterprise customers. The role requires significant experience in enterprise sales and sales leadership, ideally with developer tools or AI products, and a strong understanding of how software is built.

What you'd actually do

  1. Hire, develop, and coach a high-performing team of Strategic Account Executives to meet and exceed regional revenue targets
  2. Build and execute a sales strategy, owning pipeline generation, forecast accuracy, and overall territory performance
  3. Get into deals — support your team on complex, high-stakes opportunities by engaging directly with engineering leaders, CTOs, and executive stakeholders across the region
  4. Drive operational rigor: maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline inspection, and CRM hygiene across the team
  5. Partner with Enablement to accelerate AE ramp time and build training programs tailored to Cursor's enterprise sales motion
