Regional Marketing Manager - Amer West

GitLab is seeking a Regional Marketing Manager for AMER West to provide operational and strategic support for programs driving sales pipeline growth. This role involves partnering with Sales and Marketing teams to plan, execute, and measure regional campaigns and events, focusing on detailed planning, clear communication, and precise execution. The manager will assist with campaign and event setup, budget management, logistics coordination, and updating marketing materials, utilizing GitLab's platform for project management and collaborating with marketing operations.

What you'd actually do

  1. Assist Senior Regional Marketing Managers with campaign and event setup, execution, and reporting for AMER Regional Marketing Sales programs, ensuring accurate timelines, documentation, and communication.
  2. Support the creation, management, and tracking of regional marketing budgets by processing purchase orders through GitLab's procurement process and coordinating payments for Regional Marketing activities.
  3. Help plan and coordinate regional event logistics, including venue research, vendor coordination, registration management, staffing requests, and onsite support to deliver high-quality experiences.
  4. Work in GitLab in a project management style to complete tasks such as creating Marketo programs and Salesforce campaigns, generating UTMs, submitting target list requests, and tracking progress against deadlines.
  5. Manage event materials and logistics end to end, including shipping, booth setup coordination, and attendee communications before, during, and after events.

Skills

Required

  • Foundational experience in marketing or related go-to-market roles, ideally supporting regional or field programs in partnership with Sales
  • Proven ability to coordinate integrated campaigns and events that support sales pipeline goals, across both digital and in-person tactics

  • Data-driven approach to marketing, using performance metrics and insights to track campaign and event performance, measure results, and recommend improvements.

  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Comfort working in an all-remote, asynchronous environment as a self-directed "manager of one"
  • Proficiency with marketing automation platforms, customer relationship management (CRM) systems, and project management tools
