Regional Operations Manager II

This role focuses on optimizing market performance through core pricing and fares across the APAC region for Uber's mobility business. The candidate will build expertise in Uber's pricing technology, partner with local operations on pricing decisions, and manage internal pricing tools to ensure accurate and compliant fare updates. Key responsibilities include leading pricing recommendations, analyzing performance, collaborating with country teams on pricing strategies, and influencing global product teams.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead Core Pricing recommendations across APAC by scoping, designing, and executing pricing changes that drive long-term growth.
  2. Monitor and analyze performance through leading and lagging indicators, identify areas of risk or opportunity, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  3. Partner with country teams to ensure markets adopt optimal pricing strategies that balance rider affordability, driver earnings, and business sustainability
  4. Manage internal pricing tools to ensure accurate fare updates and compliance across core markets
  5. Collaborate with global Product teams to influence the design of new pricing products and ensure alignment with on-the-ground market needs.
  6. Communicate insights effectively to leadership through clear, data-driven reporting

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of experience in operations, strategy, or business leadership
