Salesforce is seeking a Regional Sales Director to lead Account Executives focused on ESMB specialist customers. This role involves driving sales growth, identifying enterprise-wide opportunities, and managing strategic and operational levels. The ideal candidate will have strong executive presence, cross-functional leadership, expertise in complex deal motions, and a proven track record of exceeding sales goals. The role also emphasizes building relationships, defining sales strategies, and ensuring adherence to internal processes. While Salesforce utilizes AI tools in recruiting and its products incorporate AI, this specific role is in sales leadership and does not involve building or directly shipping AI models or systems.

What you'd actually do

  1. You are the face of the company - comfortable calling on all levels of the C-Suite and leading new and ongoing relationships with senior executives
  2. Quota responsibility for the region/vertical to meet and exceed sales goals
  3. Maintain key customer relationships, and develop and implement strategies for expanding our customer base
  4. Provide input, direction, and guidance to other staff in the region including Partner Management, Pre-Sales, and Marketing
  5. Define and implement sales plans and strategies for enterprise accounts, including specific account plans, defining named accounts and territories, etc.
