Regional Sales Engineer (remote, Arg)

CrowdStrike is seeking a Sales Engineer with significant security expertise to help organizations stop breaches using their AI-native platform. The role involves working closely with the sales team to identify customer requirements, provide technical expertise, conduct product demonstrations, prepare technical proposals, and collaborate with product and engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have experience in endpoint or network security, strong understanding of operating systems, excellent communication and presentation skills, and experience with the MEDDIC sales process.

What you'd actually do

  1. Work closely with the sales team to identify customer requirements and design solutions that meet their needs.
  2. Provide technical expertise and support throughout the sales process, including conducting product demonstrations and presentations.
  3. Prepare technical proposals and respond to requests for proposals (RFPs).
  4. Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to provide feedback and input into the product roadmap.
  5. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products and solutions and stay up-to-date on emerging trends and technologies in the security industry.

Skills

Required

  • Endpoint or network security space – AV, EDR, incident response, forensics, SIEM, firewall, HIPS/IDS, etc.
  • Strong understanding of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems
  • Can easily articulate complex security problems to a diverse set of audiences
  • Strong self-starter with the ability to work independently
  • Can work collaboratively with Sales, Marketing, Support, and Engineering; the Sales Engineer should be the technical bridge between CrowdStrike and prospects/customers
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to present to a variety of external audiences, including C-level executives
  • Extensive contacts in the information security field and strong references
  • Strong understanding of MEDDIC based sales process and how to effectively communicate technical solutions to customers and prospects.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field
  • Sales engineering background or 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Ability to travel as required
  • Fluency in English

Nice to have

  • Experience with malware, threat intelligence, and/or sandbox analysis
  • Experience with programming or scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, and Bash
  • Experience with virtualization/VDI technologies
  • Experience with large scale cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.
  • Understanding of the OSI model
  • Certifications such as CEH, CISSP, OSCP, and SANS
