This role is for a Regional Sales Engineer at CrowdStrike, a cybersecurity company that uses an AI-native platform. The role involves delivering technical product presentations, configuring installations, collaborating with product management, and training the sales team. What you'd actually do

  1. Deliver technical product presentations & demonstrations.
  2. Configure product installations and customisations in a POV engagement
  3. Collaborate with the Product Management team as a liaison for key accounts and their technical product requirements.
  4. Provide informal training to the Sales team on CrowdStrike technology and support for technical sales and competitive messaging.
  5. Work as a Trusted Advisor within our prospects and customers in order to gain mind-share and ensure project success.

Skills

Required

  • Experienced in endpoint or network security space – AV, EDR, incident response, forensics, SIEM, firewall, HIPS/IDS, etc.
  • Strong understanding of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems
  • Can easily articulate complex security problems to a diverse set of audiences
  • Create your own network of contacts within a prospect account and ability to run technical workshops and briefings without sales presence
  • Can work collaboratively with Sales, Marketing, Support, and Engineering; the Sales Engineer should be the technical bridge between CrowdStrike and prospects/customers
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to present to a variety of external audiences, including C-level executives
  • Sales engineering background or 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Energy and passion of working in Enterprise level Net New Accounts space, researching prospects and delivering education on CrowdStrike's core market positioning and differentiators
  • Ability to travel as required
