Verkada is seeking a Regional Sales Manager, Mid-Market Select to lead, coach, train, and motivate a sales team to achieve individual and team quotas. The role involves working cross-functionally to align priorities, strategic problem-solving, and hiring/developing sales talent within a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of direct sales management experience, a team-player mentality, strong communication skills, and a proven track record of exceeding sales goals.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead, coach, train, and motivate direct reports through pipeline reviews, managing daily and weekly activities, forecasts and closed deals to ensure individual and team quotas.
  2. Work cross-functionally to align prioritization & resources amongst, sales, product, marketing, engineering, and operations.
  3. Work in a fast-paced environment, pivot as needed and adapt quickly to change, as well as be an influencing factor to the team.
  4. Strategic problem solving, project management, proactively addressing problems and surfacing scalable solutions.
  5. Hire, develop, and lead a world-class team to support revenue targets for the company.
