Regional Sales Manager, New Accounts

This role is for a Regional Sales Manager at CrowdStrike, a cybersecurity company that uses an AI-native platform. The role focuses on selling enterprise security software solutions to new customers, managing the sales cycle from prospecting to closing, and developing post-close relationships. What you'd actually do

  1. Prospects, identifies, qualifies, and closes new customer revenue within assigned accounts by building relationships with key decision makers, typically using flexible and scalable licensing models.
  2. Develops and executes a comprehensive business plan for each account, including identifying core customer requirements and mapping the benefits of CrowdStrike’s solutions to customer business requirements.
  3. Coordinates with internal stakeholders during customer onboarding, accelerated adoption of products, expansion, and eventual transition of accounts after the first twelve months to expansion/renewal focused Account Managers.
  4. Timely documentation within CRM / Marketing software of customer contact and activity data is required of this role (e.g. names, titles, contact information, opportunity value, product information, sales stages, probability, business pain, firm-future commitments, etc.).
  5. Accountable for accurate forecasting, regular quarterly revenue delivery, and the implementation of agreed account and business plans.

  • Demonstrated experience using industry knowledge and understanding of a customer’s decision-making process, goals, strategies, and business objectives.
  • Effective presentation, customer service, financial/business acumen, and negotiation skills at all levels of customer engagement.
  • Thorough understanding of the business and technical contexts of key accounts.
  • Enthusiastic self-starter and leads and compels others to get on board.
  • Builds consultative effectiveness and establishes trust with internal and external customers.
  • Knowledge of sales methodologies, techniques, and the sales lifecycle of security software solutions, software business value concepts, and the company's products.
  • Minimum 10+ years of relevant professional experience.

  • BA/BS or equivalent educational background is preferred.
