Regional Sales Manager for Johnson & Johnson's Orthopaedics business (soon to be DePuy Synthes), focusing on sports medicine products. This role involves leading sales strategies, managing a sales team, driving revenue growth, and building relationships with surgeons and healthcare systems within a defined geographic area. Requires strong leadership, sales, and business acumen in the healthcare/medical device industry.

What you'd actually do

  1. The ability to demonstrate product and procedural knowledge; clinical and procedure excellence, product expertise and new product introduction experience.
  2. Recruit, hire, and retain a diverse group of individuals within their region, ensuring that all territories are filled with the most qualified sales professionals.
  3. Provide ongoing performance management, mentorship, and career development of sales team. Drive business results by working closely with Consultants to set and achieve territory objectives, while driving patient care and customer satisfaction.
  4. Assume a lead role in the territory in acquisition of new accounts and surgeon relationships while assisting consultants in penetrating existing accounts with new technologies
  5. Possess and demonstrate an understanding of the changing market dynamics in healthcare, industry trends, customer segmentation, customer data knowledge and buying process.
