Regional Security Manager responsible for overseeing security operations, investigations, asset protection, crisis management, and liaison with law enforcement in Argentina.

What you'd actually do

  1. Supervises and directs John Deere Worldwide regional security operations in handling major security issues such as bomb threats, labor disputes, criminal and ethical violations, workplace violence situations, kidnappings, crisis management situations, site investigations, and regional executive protection.
  2. Provides professional expertise in investigating major/complex security breaches often resulting in substantial business losses and/or major threats to enterprise assets, employees, visitors, or the reputation of the company.
  3. Prepares for civil court proceedings which may include conducting interviews, locating/examining evidence, taking depositions, providing testimony and strategizing litigation efforts.
  4. Provides regional oversight and strategic direction to enterprise contract security providers as well as John Deere units to ensure the proper safety/security of physical assets, proprietary information, employees and visitors.
  5. Implements auditing standards for security, fire, life safety, and facility security assessments on a regional level to coordinate with enterprise initiatives.

  • Provides professional expertise in investigating major/complex security breaches often resulting in substantial business losses and/or major threats to enterprise assets, employees, visitors, or the reputation of the company.
  • Maintains close liaison with regional law enforcement agencies, criminal justice prosecutors, governmental units, private organizations and similar corporate functions to assure that in decision making processes the needs of the enterprise are met.
  • Ensures that John Deere Worldwide Security regional initiatives such as incident reporting, security audits, contract security administration, workplace violence training and compliance administration are proceeding in accordance with enterprise and division goals.
  • Manages the activities of a professional and technical staff with responsibility for asset protection, asset recovery and investigations and implementation of systems resources on an enterprise basis.
  • Develops and provides training and presentations related to the investigative process, procedures, and results.
  • Skill in program management.
