Relationship Executive for Global Banking focusing on Venture Capital coverage within the Technology sector. What you'd actually do

  1. Lead coverage of Technology-focused venture capital firms as a Managing Director within JPMorgan Chase’s Global Banking, partnering across the Commercial & Investment Bank, Private Bank, Credit, and Global Technology to deliver the full J.P. Morgan platform to VC firms, General Partners, and portfolio companies across the lifecycle.
  2. Expand senior relationships with Technology-focused VC firms (GPs, firm leadership, Partners) across the US; serve as a strategic advisor on exit pathways, venture debt, and capital markets readiness for portfolio companies.
  3. Apply prior Technology IB expertise to identify and originate multi-product solutions: M&A advisory, equity (IPO, follow-on, convertible), debt (IG/HY/DCM), private capital and venture/growth financing.
  4. Provide sector-specific strategic insights and content (valuation, market updates, precedents, comparables) across enterprise/cloud, internet/consumer tech, fintech, AI, and applied technology.
  5. Orchestrate cross-sell across Investment Banking, Markets, Commercial Bank (credit, treasury, payments), and the Private Bank.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years of relevant banking/coverage experience
  • Technology investment banking and/or VC relationship coverage
  • Demonstrated track record advising Technology companies across M&A and capital markets
  • Engaging at the C-suite/board level
  • Deep Technology sector expertise
  • Strong corporate finance knowledge across M&A, ECM, DCM, private capital
  • Familiarity with venture/growth structures
  • Proven ability to originate, lead, and execute complex, multi-product transactions
  • Consistent record of meeting/exceeding sales and business development goals
  • Strong experience with banking products for VC firms and their portfolio companies
  • Ability to mobilize internal networks and resources across lines of business
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, content creation, and presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with senior business and control partners
