The Release Train Engineer role at Caterpillar focuses on driving Business Agility across the enterprise by providing expertise, leadership, mentorship, coaching, training, and facilitation in Agile methodologies. The role requires extensive experience in Business Performance Management, Business Process Design, Growth and Agility, Coaching Others, and Influencing.

What you'd actually do

  1. Teaching the Agile Mindset, Agile Frameworks, and Leadership, contributing to the development and continuous improvement of training materials and practices
  2. Working with teams, framework role members, and/or leaders on an individual basis to help them be successful in an Agile organization, using tools and frameworks knowledge to promote best practices. Use professional coaching skills to help organization and leaders resolve issues, create strategy, set objectives aimed at creating value.
  3. Facilitating organizational workshops, strategic planning, scaled events. Drive and contribute to Agile community of practice events and the overall growth of Business Agility within the company.
  4. Have a basis of lean thinking principles and wide knowledge of the Agile mindset and Frameworks, and be able to apply them to business situations, as well as operate within them to model "best practice" and "emergent" behaviors
