Reliability & Maintenance Digital Transformation Architect Senior Manager

This role focuses on architecting digital solutions to improve equipment reliability and maintenance strategies within the industrial sector, specifically for refining and chemicals companies. It involves assessing current processes, developing future-state workflows, and implementing solutions using technologies like IoT, AI, and digital twins to reduce downtime and optimize costs. The role requires experience with MES, ERP/EAM systems, and APM platforms, and involves client interaction and project delivery.

What you'd actually do

  1. Architect digital solutions to improve equipment reliability and maintenance strategies using predictive/preventive tools.
  2. Assess current plant maintenance processes and define future-state workflows to improve reliability.
  3. Develop and document technical solutions (IoT, AI, digital twins) to reduce unplanned downtime and optimize maintenance costs
  4. Partner with sales and clients to quantify business impact, delivering tailored demonstrations to technical and executive audiences
  5. Select the best-matching technical stacks and integrate them into existing IT infrastructures.

Skills

Required

  • Refining and chemicals reliability and maintenance experience
  • 8+ years in maintenance or reliability engineering, specifically in refining, chemicals, or mining.
  • Ability to translate complex maintenance challenges into business value, managing project scope and cost optimization.
  • Experience with ERP/EAM systems (e.g., SAP PM, Maximo), APM platforms and/or Digital Twin Platforms.
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Ability to travel up to 50%

Nice to have

  • Experience with asset criticality analysis, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), and reliability data analysis.
