Reliability & Maintainability Engineer for Ground Weapons System (GWS) program, supporting the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). Responsibilities include developing reliability and maintainability products, performing FMECA analysis, and verifying RAM requirements. Requires a Secret security clearance.

What you'd actually do

  1. support of the Ground Weapons System (GWS) program as an individual contributor on the Specialty Engineering RAM team.
  2. developing reliability and maintainability products that directly support the design and development of the GWS capability on behalf of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).
  3. Experience in Reliability and Maintainability discipline.
  4. Experience with Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) analysis.
  5. Experience with the development and verification of RAM (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability) requirements.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline or equivalent experience
  • Experience in Reliability and Maintainability discipline
  • Experience with Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) analysis
  • Experience with software architecture and design
  • Experience with the development and verification of RAM (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability) requirements
  • Experience with systems engineering tools such as DOORS
  • good communication skills
  • ability to think critically
  • Capable of working both independently and within a team environment
  • current active in-scope U.S. Government DoD issued Secret security clearance
