Remote Camera Operations Coordinator I

This role supports remote production workflows by deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting technology for home studios, field reporting, and remote events. It involves collaboration with production and operations teams to ensure seamless broadcast execution, managing equipment, and handling administrative tasks like invoicing and shipping logistics. The position also requires availability outside standard business hours and willingness to travel.

What you'd actually do

  1. Procure, deploy, and maintain technology for home studios, field reporters, bureau reporters and bureau producers.
  2. Plan and execute home studio installations/removals within talent homes or facilities as needed.
  3. Collaborate with Production teams to support specialty needs as it relates to remote events.
  4. Partner with Operations Producers & Leadership to communicate workflows, technical needs, and event support requirements.
  5. Develop and maintain a strong understanding of broadcast technology, camera systems, and production equipment.

Skills

Required

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally on short notice

Nice to have

  • Foundational knowledge of newsgathering, broadcast production, and operational workflows.
  • Experience with basic video production.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills - both written and verbal.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with production teams and on-air talent across diverse working environments.
  • High proficiency with Mac systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint)
  • Working knowledge of Smartsheet and BeyondTrust (Bomgar).
  • Bi-Lingual English and Spanish is a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree
