This role is for a Renewal Manager responsible for ensuring customer value and renewals, identifying expansion opportunities, and collaborating cross-functionally to improve efficiency and retention.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own the renewal process from initial outreach to contract execution, ensuring on-time renewals and reducing churn.
  2. Lead commercial negotiations by developing pricing proposals, overcoming objections, and ensuring win-win contract agreements.
  3. Drive customer engagement through live interactions, leveraging data insights to reinforce Gong's value and alignment with customer goals.
  4. Identify upsell and expansion opportunities within existing accounts by uncovering needs for additional seats, products, or services.
  5. Manage renewal forecasting and pipeline in Salesforce, tracking renewal progress, risks, and deal velocity.

Skills

Required

  • 2+ years of experience in renewals, account management, customer success, or sales in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Proven track record of managing and negotiating contracts with a strong renewal/expansion success rate.
  • Experience working with Salesforce and Gong, particularly managing opportunities
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, able to handle objections and influence decision-makers.
  • Strong business acumen, understanding customer needs and financial drivers to craft compelling renewal pitches.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail, managing a high-volume book of business efficiently.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment while maintaining a proactive, strategic approach.
